Well, just passing here to say that I do have plans to improve even more the guides but, time is a problem and I will not be able to do all I want here until the end of the day! :(
My intention here is to add to the guides after the factions (part 4), something like: the Purity System Guide (5), The Commanders Guide (6), the Deck Builder Overview guide (7), the Deck Building / Building a Deck Guide (8) and, a guide talking about the order of things at a turn and other stuff. And oh, the other guides that talk about the game modes, the term, etc. etc. need a little love too.
But, my friend... doing this is very, very time consuming for me (although, it is very fun! haha) and I have lots of things going on around here... so, I will have to do those things at a slow pace.
By the way, I have to say to you a BIG, BIG thank you. You were doing a fantastic work around here a long time before we arrive at this Wikia. I do recognize that and I am glad to have you as a admin here.
Sorry for the work I did give to you, this wikia thing is not easy...
Hey, so I thought the "Types Of Cards" image was kind of stale with a black background and just 3 cards grouped up, so I tried to spice it up a little bit (by using online tools, my laptop's dead ATM and so is my Photoshop :/ )
Great! I would suggest breaking each deck into individual tables, under their own sub-header. Somewhat similar to Quest.
I think this would look better and also improve navigability (as this will create a table of contents at the top of the page automatically). It also would allow for additional information to be added about each deck in the future, e.g. strategy.
As I'm learning a little bit more of how to do things around here, I got excited and tried too to use some software I just downloaded to try to add images here but... I'm still bad at the Wiki editor and now, at the image software I used! haha
I saw that the cards Sacullas, the Hehkeens, the Luccas and Cornicen are not showing the correct text, I tried to use this software to put a good quality image at the here to replace it, but, the result was no good.
Would you mind to tell me what software do you use to capture images in good quality? I guess it is ok to upload images that are not that good at the guides, but those at the library... they deserve more.
About the changes at the cards I talked about at the forum, I'll try to finish first the guides thing and after, will talk to you more about.
does your computer not know about print screen? you shouldn't need any swoftware to 'capture' a static image, there should be a button on the keybord that says PRT SC or something similar, press that to copy a picture of the screen to the clipboard, which you can then paste into an image editor (also holding ALT before pressing print screen takes a picture of just the program youre looking at not the whole screen)
Wow, really sorry Nato. Just for you too know, there are some people that are not used to this image capturing thing. But, ok, answering your question, my "PC knows about it".
By the way, I was willing to add some images with a better definition than using the print screen. When I did it and try to use the wikia to increase the image size, its definition got a little worse, and I did not like it, simply as that. I was worried about some other subjects too but, I just noticed that maybe I am just too worried and I dont need to be.
I don't have your experience into this image thing, but now, is you that do not need to worry, I will not bother you guys anymore with that.
Umm, ok, i wasn't being facetious, i was genuininely asking if your computer doesn't know how to handle print screen (I work in IT ive seen it a couple times), i was just thinking either A they know about print screen but their computer doesn't do it properly which would explain the use of screen capture programs or B they don't know about print screen in which case 'hey here's how to print screen'.
I wasn't saying "how the puffy do you not know this already?", otherwise my post probably wouldn't have had all the instructions.
Sorry if you're offended, I should've worded it a little better but I was being sincere
Check out your Admin Dashboard, which can by found by clicking "Admin" on the bottom toolbar -- it has links to all your new tools. Please let me know if you have any questions, and good luck with your new (old) wikia!
